According to the Chicago Sun-Times, officers were called to the 7500 block of North Paulina Street around 11:25 a.m. Monday. There, they found an unidentified 58-year-old woman unresponsive aboard the train, and she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Police told the paper that Area 3 detectives are handling the investigation.
The 120-year-old station is one of the CTA’s most heavily used and serves the Purple, Pink, Brown, Orange and Pink Lines.
